This latest release in our Sinfonietta Shorts series is by synesthetic composer, Deborah Pritchard. The work for solo violin is inspired by images of the Aurora taken from the International Space Station. The colours, and their positions, influence the flow, dynamics and structure of this composition, which is beautifully played by London Sinfonietta's Principal Violinist, Jonathan Morton.
